In Bucha’s city park, with the help of partners and volunteers, a nature science classroom was built for children of a city deeply affected by the war. 2L Architects invited us to create a signage system that would communicate the building’s sustainability ideas. To carry this idea further, we brought in lighting manufacturer INDI, who produced the signs from recycled paper. Illustrator ABran gave the project its voice, translating the building’s ideas into drawings and a set of distinctive icons.
The signs are made from recycled paper, extending the building’s sustainability concept to every detail.

Each illustration explains one of the building’s sustainable solutions in a way that children can easily understand.
A custom set of icons drawn by ABran forms the visual language of the classroom.
